The Gallery reconsiders how an unbuilt home can be understood. Conceived as a permanent destination for Fortis, the space gives physical form to projects that may otherwise exist only through drawings, models and material samples.

Within the heritage structure, a series of freestanding rooms hold each residential project as an individual composition. Their placement establishes a measured sequence from the street through the gallery, allowing each project to retain its own identity within a larger architectural framework. The existing structure remains legible around them, giving the interior a sense of permanence and order.

Part gallery, part residence and part place of hospitality, the space isupports a range of uses, from private meetings to larger presentations, within a calm and resolved environment. Material, furniture, art and controlled light bring a domestic quality to the experience, allowing architecture yet to be built to be understood through space.
